Mission Statement
Responsibility
Beacon Oilfield Service Ltd., when acting as a prime contractor, is responsible for coordination and general supervision of all activities carried out by contractors, sub-contractors, service companies, and suppliers. While all parties have a responsibility to promote worker safety, Beacon Oilfield Services Ltd. recognizes its leadership role in promoting worker safety on the basis that it has the greatest power to influence worksite situations. It is the responsibility of workers and employers to refuse to perform unsafe work practices.
Priority
Activities will be conducted on the basis that safety of all personnel is of vital importance, whether those personnel are employed by Beacon Oilfield Services Ltd., a contractor, a sub-contractor, a service company, or a supplier.
Recognition
The process of selecting contractors, sub-contractors, service companies, and suppliers, and the administrations of contracts will include recognition and support of good safety performances.
Support and recognition based on good safety performance will also be provided by Beacon Oilfield Services Ltd. to all their employees.
Improvement
Beacon Oilfield Services, Ltd. in cooperation with service companies within the industry, will promote methods and practices that have potential for improving safety performances. |
